We are commissioned to take up the branding project for arsPHOTO.
‘ars’ stands for ‘art’ in Spanish. arsPHOTO provides services to customers to share their happiness and joy by producing unique and personal photo albums. arsPHOTO believes in ‘Cheers always around you’, there are lots of joyful and amazing moments that worth commemorating. Customers can capture every magical moment by taking photos, then with the service of arsPHOTO, create and publish a photo book for each pleasant journey.
Our core idea is to use colourful puzzle-like pieces to construct letters and graphics throughout each item include brand logo, visual identity, marketing and promotion collateral and graphic wall of office.
For the logo, we keep ‘ars’ in simple typography, while we use multicolored shapes to construct the word PHOTO, the visual impact is strong, the logo is overall eye catching and successfully protrude the focus of business.
On the name card, we adopt simple, colorful and detailed graphics to represent various of happy occasions. This would facilitate customers to visualize and create linkage between the graphics and their cheerful moments. We used a die-cut treatment for the ‘O’ from the company name arsPHOTO. This attention catching design was meant to let everyone to look through, look around those wonderful things happening around you, they will put a big smile on your face.

We are gladded to be invited by arsPHOTO to develop their branding identity. The scope of this project includes developing their brand logo, visual identity, marketing and promotion collateral and graphic wall of office. We use colourful and cute graphics to inspire consumers to preserve their joyful memory by creating a unique album.

Nov 6 - ORBIS “Eye for The Dragon” Eco-red Pocket Charity Sale & Creativity Show

Polytrade Paper invited Eric Chan as overall planning designer for ORBIS ‘Eye for The Dragon’ Eco-red Pocket Charity Sale & Creativity Show. The exhibition was held in Hong Kong and Macau. Polytrade Paper invited 8 designers from Hong Kong and Macau, each of them designed Red Pocket for ORBIS charity sale. The first exhibition was held in Hong Kong on the 6 November 2011.

ORBIS “Eye for the Dragon” Eco-red Pocket Charity Sale & Creativity Show

The logotype design was inspired by the pupil of an eye. Eric added a twist to this key element and transformed the idea of circle into eye and used a spark to represent pupil of the eye. The spark implied hope, which means Orbis lighten up the hope in the eyes of those in need.

The exhibitions were held in Wonderful Worlds of Whampoa Timeplus of Hong Kong and Macao Creative Pavilion of Macau. The first show commenced in Hong Kong on the 6 November 2011. The sparkling eye design was used in all materials including backdrop, wall graphics, display units, invitations and all printed matters. The exhibition used delicate display units to lay out work of each designer, each of the display units had unique angle, they are decorated with graphics composed by the sparkling eyes.
